Alternate Balrog

I haven't uploaded anything in forever, so I thought I'd upload an unfinished sketch I did over vacation.

I recently saw the Lord of the Rings in theaters again (so amazing), and I was thinking about what the Balrog would look like if it was less fiery and subsisted more of death and darkness.

Anyways, I still like the original design used in the movies more, and I'm not sure if this even worked at all.

Anyway, just keeping my pencil skills in tune.
